This popular group of fie extraordinary young musicians at the top of their game is recognized for raising the entertainment bar at venues across the Metro area. Over the past 3 years, Jalea has cultivated a solid reputation with a widely-varied repertoire that runs the gamut from tropical rhythms, including: salsa, cumbia, merengue, bachata and reggaeton to rock en Español and Latin jazz. Group member resumes include such luminaries as Tito Puentes, Celia Cruz, Marcos Witt, Grupo Niche and others. Currently, Jalea keeps Houston revelers ON the dance floor at Paco Joe’s, Mi Luna and El Pueblito Place four nights a week. With a CD set for release at the end of the year, Jalea continues to evolve as a creative force while keeping Houstonians on their dancing feet!
